Product Engineering
iOS and Android apps in Flutter, React Native or native code, with on-device and cloud AI features.
In short
AI mobile app development is building iOS and Android apps that use AI on the device or in the cloud: scanning documents, understanding speech, recommending content or answering questions. KaliIO builds apps in Flutter, React Native or native code, decides which AI runs on the phone and which on a server, and ships them to both app stores.
What's included
On-device AI works offline and keeps data on the phone; cloud AI is more capable. Most apps need a mix.
apps: ios + android, flutter
on-device: document scan, offline
cloud: assistant via backend api
sync: works offline, syncs later
release: app store + play store
monitor: crashes, usage, ratingsHow we build
Every engagement follows the same path, so you always know what comes next and what you get at each step.
We learn your goals, data and constraints, agree on what success looks like, and check that AI is the right tool for the job.
What you get
A working prototype on your own data, so you can judge the approach before committing to a full build.
What you get
A limited rollout to real users, measured against the success metrics agreed in discovery.
What you get
We harden it for real traffic: security, integrations, monitoring and documentation.
What you get
After launch we track quality, cost and drift and keep improving it, or hand it over to your team.
What you get
Use cases
Proof of delivery, route updates and photo capture for drivers and technicians.
Read IDs, invoices or meter readings with the camera and fill in the form.
Appointment, reminder and follow-up apps, with a clinician in the loop.
Crop advice and alerts in local languages, working on low-end phones.
Visual search, recommendations and an assistant inside your store app.

We pick the model and stack that fit your data, budget and team, and build so you can switch later.
Ways to work with us
Pick the model that fits where you are. Every engagement starts with a discovery call.
A good first step
Best for Testing an idea on your own data
A focused build that answers one question: does this work for us? You get a working result and a clear next step.
Best for A defined product or feature
Agreed scope, milestones and acceptance criteria, from design to production.
Best for Ongoing AI and product work
A team that works as part of yours, with a lead you talk to every week.
FAQ
It depends on scope, not on a rate card. The main cost drivers are how many workflows the system covers, how ready your data is, which systems it must connect to, the model and its usage costs, and your security or compliance needs. On a discovery call we go through them with you and agree the scope before building.
It depends on scope and on how ready your data is. Every project moves through the same steps: discovery, prototype, pilot, production, then ongoing improvement. The prototype comes first, so you see the idea working on your own data early, and the timeline for each later step is agreed before that step starts.
A prototype shows the idea working on a sample of your data, usually without production integrations. A pilot puts a working version in front of a small group of real users, inside their actual workflow, and measures it against the success metrics agreed in discovery. The pilot result decides whether, and how, to move to production.
A short description of the problem, an idea of what success looks like, and sample data or documents if you have them. It also helps to have one person who knows the workflow well and can answer questions during discovery. Book a discovery call and we will take it from there.
